480 badge for tailgate by Renault!:-)

The Volvo 480 looks good as is, but if you have the desire to give it a more personal look you can find out what others did to their 480 and be inspired.

"VOLVO" is massive in the same font, just look at the next late model Volvo artic you see! Had thought about other marques' "S" badges but the problem is that the "480" one is a satin finish where some others are going to be shiney chrome, but I'll keep looking and if I get anything I'll post it here.

Y reg mk1 XR2 - braw fun, now departed

Thinking about a turbo - it's all your fault, mind you, saw a black XR4i the other day...........

If the chrome is a problem, you could always try scuffing it lightly with a scotch pad or a very fine grade wet'n'dry! Look on the bright side though, a little chrome badge could stand your 'S' out as being something a little bit special!

The chrome tailgate Volvo badge from a 940 or 960 is the same size font, and is chrome.I saw this as a plus really, but all down to personal taste as ever.

Can we see the Renualt 480 badge fitted Kenny??

I haven't got round to fitting it yet, partly because I spend a fair bit of my time on the M8 studying bootlid badges on cars (don't know quite how I haven't hit anyone yet!) and am now contemplating getting an S40 and an S80 bootlid badges and combining the requisite parts to make 480S, I too like the shiney chrome, also the new "VOLVO" badges looke quite smart too. so it would all be the same then. Although if Volvo cars' prices are anything like Volvo Truck and Bus it could prove to be a very expensive styling detail!!
