styled 480's pics

Not been a fan of 480 kits really, the Volvo one just cuts it, but this one is very nice. Aren't those wheels original Volvo? I believe they were for the early 440/460 models..

I like them, suit the car! Job well done there me-thinks!

Got no name for them though...

the wheels are 7,5x16, there is also a rare original volvo rim for the 480 wich looks the same but only in 15". its called vega.

I have a set of those lying around, bad shape, but some new paint is all they need.

Hi all

its a nice piccy,and im deffinatly looking to go blue if poss when i get a turbo/or 2.0ltr

it almost feels ashame mine isn't blue(paris)mine green and silver

still she is a damn nice car.

i pushed the 480 out of the garage 2night and found a small patch of rust on the silver bit near the rear driverside wheelarch but its on silver so shouldn't be a prob(hopefully)
also had ,on the drivers door a ding which seemed to peel so now ive got to touch up and treat that ,with hopefully a colour match with the green.

but apart from that,strange white paint chips,or thats what it looks like on the bonnet ,i hope thats gonna be easy.

engine looks very clean(forgetting gaskit prob

other than that it looks stunning considering the rust spots are about the size of a uk five penny(luckly)

i wanna drive it(soon is never soon enough)bloody head gaskit.

its complete, down to its original alloys(no idea what they are called)i also got all the inside goodies like the blind style boot cover/carpet/replaced door panels /uphosterd the half leather seats which i kinda like

i wanna tint my windows limo black first then progress

have seen some cars what are nice , but only seen one whit a nice bodykit

What kit is on yours red? Is it just the front bumper or is the back one part of a kit also??

its the hausser but i have only the bumpers and not the sideskirts and the rear spoiler. the smaller volvo badges make the car also look "wider", which i think fits more to the rear bumper.

I know some guy from sweden has the same bodykit and colour, but I've never spoken to him (but I'd like to). U know a site where he is for sale?

There was a 1987 ES for sale at VROM 2003, GÃ¶teborg that was also Saffron Pearl. I think that was the first Saffron Pearl 480 I had ever seen on the web (back in 1999 / 2000). It was for sale for about 2500 Euros I believe. Looked very nice.
