sleepy eye kit?

The Volvo 480 looks good as is, but if you have the desire to give it a more personal look you can find out what others did to their 480 and be inspired.

cos it looks shite, and is basically doing something to the motors that theyre not intended to do.......theyre supposed to shut all the way....you are proposing spending money to make your lights do something everyone else spends money on to avoid

oh right....i thought they worked the other way around!!

still dont like em!
but if you do dude, then s'up to you.....
i DO like the little bullet lights you can get for the pop up type lights.....seen em on a gto near me......when the pop up are shut, theres two little lights on top of each pop up, which work kind of like the DRLs on the 480.....when the pop ups are up, they switch off.
pretty nice imho

airbrakes spring to mind
if you really like this sort of thing, and arent just having a momentary lapse of reason and intelligence, then think about maybe modifying the nose cone?
a la nissan Z series?
still wouldnt look right imho, but as said....s'up to you

I don't understand ? MR2's have pop ups too or are you wanting to
change to something like the 850 BMW with 2 round lenses instead of
the original square

BTW sleepy eye kit is wrong V wrong IMHO don't do it
There's a bit of 480 in all of us

I was looking through a mates old Max Powers (don't laugh!), and i saw a Mk2 MR2 that had it's pop-ups removed, the gap filled over with a sheet of perspex and a couple of small projector headlights in, and it actually looked quite good, not sure how it would look on a 480 though... :?

Look nice on an MR2, on a 480 they do look broken. The 480 doesn't lend itself to that sort of styling.

Your choice but would look proper odd on a 480...

Try it out, remove the fuse at the appropriate time. Maybe by yanking it out with a piece of string. ;)
