SNOW COVERS GROUP BUY

The Volvo 480 looks good as is, but if you have the desire to give it a more personal look you can find out what others did to their 480 and be inspired.

SNOW COVERS GROUP BUY

Post by lee » Tue Aug 09, 2005 8:14 pm

Ok people due to people wanting to get other parts for their 480's I have the possibility of the snow cover as per the previous thread.

The new thread is because this is for a show of hands for a group buy.

Ok first of all its a minium of 10 covers.

Costs are as follows:

GRP £65
CARBON £80

I know this might sound steep but this does include the fitting kit. IF YOU DON'T WANT THE FITTING KIT THEN YOU CAN TAKE £5 OFF THE PRICE

Its up to you weather or not you believe me on this but i am not making a bean out of these.

Postage and packaging and insurance is as follows
UK- £17
Europe - £36

Ok people we need 10 people to buy. The quicker we get to ten the quicker we can get them made

Here are some pictures of the snow scoop on my car (not painted)

I am always willing to help my fellow 480 owners out. When i say i am not making a bean on it i really am not.

As for collection people if we have enough orders by friday  then they would be ready for the lincoln meet then i could bring them with me saving you all on the postage.
Whilst on the postage topic the postage is with DHL next day delivery for the UK, and within 3 days for Europe.

A black one including fitting kit.

Do you want me to relate this post on the french-speaking forum ?
There might be some people interested over there too.

This is a group buy for the whole of Europe. I people want to advertise it else where and make a drink carry on.

I am shocked that a group buy is so hard to do with a member base of over 1000 members. 10 is a mere 1% of the club.

For the euro members their is someone in europe that I saw advertising the front spoilers (copies only in grp) for 90 euro's

It's only been out for a day, relax :)

I'll take the regular one, with fittings!

edit: btw, how do we pay you? Paypal?

edit2: I'd be nice if you'd include a picture of installed snow cover on the first post - probably people would be more interested if they'd see what it would look like. And therefore linking to this thread from other enthusiast forums would make more sense... Am I making any sense? :)

edit3: Still not making any sense, but is it possible to get a front spoiler too? I'd like a fiberglass one..

Postage of the front spoiler is still a big issue. I am not willing to pay out £235 for 100 boxes made to size. I know that only works out a £2.35 a box, but when you have to buy a minium of 100 it gets expensive.

The snow scoops however are easy as the boxes are readily available to the consumer.

I'll put a link to this page on the french forum.

BTW, a friend of mine asked the dimensions of the scoop because he find it cool and he would like to put it on his honda civic.
