momo wheel but no horn or self cancel on indicator
the horn should be no problem to sort
but I would like some advice on how to sort the indicators
I have removed the airbag wheel and chucked the boss kit and steering wheel on its a hassle remembering to cancel the indicators would I
be able to rig something (prob post some pics tomorrow)

not sure with whatever wheel youve got (momo make loads a different ones that fit....palm beach?)
basically the self canceller thing is just a little spike out the bottom of the wheel, so it should be easy enough to rig something up that works as well.

Don't start supergluing sticks on, JayTee - just get a bleedin steering colum from a pre-92 car - cheap as chips and it can't be too hard to fit them (although I'm soon going to find out)
Cheers!

Really easy. I had to do it a couple of months back to fit my Momo. The column's only held on with 4 bolts, plus the one to the steering rack. You will need the pre 92 spacer washer too as the airbag version is longer. i'd say an hour would have it done easily.dragon wrote:Don't start supergluing sticks on, JayTee - just get a bleedin steering colum from a pre-92 car - cheap as chips and it can't be too hard to fit them (although I'm soon going to find out)

Changed mine to fit a Momo wheel. Not that hard, the trickiest part is to drill out the old steering lock if you want the same one that you had before.
After the swap, it works like a treat. Self cancelling, horn...everything.
Takes a couple of hours but well worth it.

Well the white Owl mobile is now a club MOMO member thanks to the loan from the spare Paris......SHhh dont tell the wife.
You do need the older steering column in order to make everything work.
Not a hard job to change over, just be careful with the SRS airbag.
Most time consuming part was removing the ign barrel / steering lock and swapping over.
Horn and self cancelling indicators all working fine, without the Wheel feeling like its gonna fly off in your hands (Lee )

LOL @ Lee comment
Nice one Wayne!
BTW: Why have you adopted Psygnosis' logo as your avatar?! It's great, just brought back memories - you'd LOVE the Amiga game, Agony, where you are an Owl on a quest
