Front spoilers - for sale

The Volvo 480 looks good as is, but if you have the desire to give it a more personal look you can find out what others did to their 480 and be inspired.

Spoke with the company making the spoilers and the first one should be rolled out in 3 weeks. This will be carbonfibre and will have cost me the price of a 480 so that everyone else gets the benifit.

I hope that it will all be worth it

Prices are rather fine. What about posting costs to Poland?

Ok we must be getting close to seeing the first spoiler, Any pics yet?

My car doesn't have a spoiler on it. Will this give me grief with fitting one. Not having one i have no idea how they are attatched to the car, can someone explain and possibly post a pic or two.

There are a few people from the french forum who have asked me if I'll bring one or two back from luxemburg, but I guess they won't be ready ??

@turnipman - Lots of little holes in the bottom of your bumper, then a metal clip at the back to hold a screw - will get a photo up for tomorrow, as mine has been broken off - you can see the mounting points!

Hi Lee, I'm also very much interested in your 480 spoiler. I think it will look good under mine red 1989 480ES bumper!! :D
Like others on this forum I'm interested in the total costs of this spoiler. Could you give a indication of the costs (incl posting costs to the Netherlands) of a fibre glass spoiler?
And is there much difference in quality between the fibre glass (25,-) and carbon fibre (65,-) spoiler?
Greetings from Holland.

Ok - some photos of the spoiler mounting points on my photobucket...

Hope it helps! These screws look like they mount through holes in the bumper and bed into metal washer plates behind it (like a lot of the screws in the dashboard)

Thank you Milosz! In the following link you can see a pic from a red 480 with black bumpers and a red spoiler!!

By the way I downloaded this pic from http://groups.msn.com/volvo480. This is also a very good forum about the 480. But unfortunately for you, the language is Dutch!
Cheers Rik

ps. Still anxious to know about posting costs to the Netherlands! :hopping:

I have seen that web site. Nice one. It's good for you to have contact with other 480 freaks from your country. That's what I'm trying to do with my website.
