4 stud conversion to 5 stud on wheels??? can we???

Just wondering if you knowledge guru's knew how much grief it would be to change the the wheels and hubs to another compatable (if there is one) 5 stud hub and thus allowing bigger disc's calipers and more importantly better wheel choices, info would be much apprieciated.

buy some 17s ? 4x100 is a common pcd , why would you need to make it difficult .
