The Hausser Bodykit

The Volvo 480 looks good as is, but if you have the desire to give it a more personal look you can find out what others did to their 480 and be inspired.

Very, VERY rare, you won't get one if you sold both your arms.

i know of one - but it needs to be persuaded from the hands . weve had this discussion before - if enough people chip up , we can all have copies .

I would love one, is it too much work to make a new bodykit? Sort of cross between the Hausser rear and front of the Volvo original bodykit. Only reason I say that, as I think the Hausser is a little bit too messy at the front. All those vent holes.

i love em.
put me on queue defo...have mentioned this to dave before.
what would be a ball park figure dave for reproduction of the kit...ie what would it cost me to buy one from you?
if we had that figure, at least you could tempt people into saying yes or no.
I know its difficult to say, because of costs to you of mould materials etc, and the more kits you sell, the cheaper you can do em for etc, but could you give a figure based on say 10, or 20 kits being required?

Shipping could be arranged through transport company (my friends and etc.)

Thought to buy some stuff from you, dbs, but found local producer... He makes everything private, not "a company job", so no taxes etc.

Anyway, it was just a thought.

I'm not sure his talking about doing a copy of a copy :?

Not good if that's the guys idea to take a DBS made kit and sell it again.

Otherwise making/shipping it cheaper, Whats wrong with that?

there was a post about keeping the specialists in business ?

Anyway - if you want to buy cheaper go ahead , as always these cheap deals more than most never take off - i dont think £400 is especially expensive for a full bodykit , considering the work that will have gone into molding and making it .

He will still have to get a kit in the first place , i dont see anybody offering one to be copied as yet . itll be next xmas the way things are going .

My patience gets a bit thin sometimes .

I would never expect to pay less than £400 for a bodykit, and at that i mean a mass produced one. £400 is bloody cheap for a specialist job, if i had a job i'd get one.

If there is kits to be bought in two years, i would want one for sure.

Not much use now though..

look on club website for hausser bodykit.

I would have one dave, definitely, 400 quid is cheap as far as kits go...cost 200 quid for a half decent front bumper for a dis-astra or something similar...plus the fact that the hausser isnt produced anymore, its a 'proper' 480 kit (regardless of wether copy or not.), and im a big believer in keeping 'home grown' business men in business...no offence to anyone out of the country, just the way i feel.
I was gonna offer a kit for copy (theiss k1), but didnt get the car, and i havent seen pandion on here for a while, as he got it....would be nice if he did....all the old kits arent around anymore, so its not just a case of who wants them, but actually keeping them alive...

If it ever comes off, i will be first on list!
