The Volvo 480 looks good as is, but if you have the desire to give it a more personal look you can find out what others did to their 480 and be inspired.

I really really want to find nice and shiny door sill protectors. Original Volvo ones (there is always hope) or tailor-made stainless steel.
Any suggestions?
And if I can have them engraved it is even better

I wanted a pair of the GT ones, but advised it is impossible to get them off a scrap car in good enough condition to refit.
I have now bought a pair for one of the current Volvo models, cant remember which one. I went along to a main dealer and went all round the showroom looking at the different versions to choose some that are thin. Most are designed to be inset in a recess, so would probably foul the door. It remains to be seen if they can be fitted when the car goes into the body shop next month.
