HI guys!
I have a rear spoiler made by Hausser and I would need an info: to secure it on the tailgate is necessary to create holes on the hinges of the tailgate?
Having seen some pictures on internet I wouldn't have many doubts, but, wanting to sell, I'd like to have your confirmation about (especially from those which have one).
Thanks in advance!

Re: Hausser rear spoiler info
Open the boot and remove the bolts that secure the glass to the hinges. Warning the glass will fall on you.
Drill the holes through the hinges completely then have a good swear as you try and bolt it all back together.

There are always ample warnings and there are always subtle signs,
And you would have seen them coming but we gave you too much time.

Re: Hausser rear spoiler info
The blind holes through the window should have a diameter of 6,5mm.
Additionally to the bolts both sides of the rear spoiler are fixed on the window, which should be pretreated with primer (Sika Glas-Primer 206J), with polyurethane adhesive (SikaFlex-221). The products mentioned are those that were originally used (information from the installation instructions that I have in German).
According to the 'ABE ' (general operating - how it's called in English?) the rear window must remain open by itself with mounted rear spoiler. Could be a problem with some dampers.
Best regards
Florian
