Alloys

The Volvo 480 looks good as is, but if you have the desire to give it a more personal look you can find out what others did to their 480 and be inspired.

Alloys

Post by Cyclone_27 » Wed Oct 07, 2009 5:41 am

I need some advice on alloys, im currently running on the original 14" wheels (not sure what they are called) iv been thinking of painting them but iv heard the paint dont last too long and chips easy.
soooo im thinkin of just getting some new ones entirely but im not sure what size and width to get. does it affect the car much if i get 15" or thicker wheels?
any suggestions what sizes are best?

15" is also common size on these cars. There is a lot of different 15" original alloys for 480. I've got 16" wheels, they fit quite easily. Even 17" is an option and I've seen a 480 with 18" wheels :D

But go with 15", you'll get decent size tires in there aswell.
