wider wheels

The Volvo 480 looks good as is, but if you have the desire to give it a more personal look you can find out what others did to their 480 and be inspired.

Most of the banded wheels are wided only to the outside. This gives a totally different ET/ offset. Normally a difference of 5-10mm in ET is acceptable, but if you widen the wheels with 1 or 2 inches (25 a 51mm) only to the outside. The ET changes with the same value which is big change.
This change the scrub radius and affects steering feel and behaviour.

Look brillant, though.

There's two Mk2 Golf's round here in red that have been dropped to the floor, and both have steels that look identical to that...I did wonder if they were some sort of alloy as I've never seen them up-close, but now I know. One has a glossy black set, the other a matte black with fine red pin-stripe.

They do indeed look pretty cool!

It look awsom, but it's not so good to wheel suspension and bearings.
