Looks good at the mo... Numberplate is tricky. It looks ok offset, but it's just too big i think. Spoiler's looking interesting. What's it off anyway? Looks like a Saxo spoiler but a bit bigger...

Keep the pics coming ;)

i found out its an aftermarket 205. but its not going as easy as planned. the weight of the spoiler and designe means it doesnt hold itself up, so im having to try and make fibre glass feet for it, but thats alot harder than thought. i even had a friend who knew wat hes doing (body worker) and he even said its one of the trickiest jobs hes had to do cause of all the curves in it
for the number plate, im not really happy with it, but itll do till i get my next plan on the move with a front splitter

Well, if that spoiler doesn't work out, in all seriousness, i'm sure the early Saxo VTR spoilers are quite a good fit (the very first ones, like P reg or something).

Maybe a consideration if the 205 one doesn't work out..

Thanks for getting back with that!

I think maybe then if the spoiler is too heavy, I will make a mould from it slightly undersize, do a few layers of fibreglass, cut in half, remove the mould, and then do a couple of layers to join the two halves together...would be a lot lighter that way...

bloody hell, that really is alot of work lol. i think mines going to be alright once the fibre glass feet that sit on the window are finished. fingers crossed

I have a feeling the DBS spoilers are just these with some brackets, looks very similar.

Nah DBS = Dave who got booted off this forum for a racial slur after procrastinating rather than doing work he been paid to do to a member's car....for like a year.

Old news now.

He did make a small handful of spoilers for the 480....which looked pretty good.

its really does need lowering now, just finding some nice springs at a nice price. so advice would be nice.

monay and the tyres are off ready for a refurb, and respray. not sure wat im gonna do with them yet, thought the colour didnt look right with the car, so might spray them same colour as car or try summit different, was thinking polished lip, but seen alot of boy racers with polished lips on there corsa's so going off the idea, gr

I've kept my 480 completely standard as it's as far away from a boy racer Corsa as it's possible to get without tinkering with how Volvo designed it.

I'd do a quick search for lowering springs, there's always alot of debate surrounding this so is a well covered topic on the forum.

I like the wheels. I wouldn't be put off having them with a polished lip, However, i think black or similar wheels don't look right on some cars, especially black cars, and you have to keep the tyre's very black otherwise they look odd. I'm not really sure what colour to suggest if you want a coloured set. I think they'd look nice refinished silver if the car was nice and low...

Now, stop tinkering and get outside with a bloody bucket and sponge and clean it

Polished lip and body colour centre would look ace on the wheels/ car as a lowering and 205/50 R15 tyres would be.
