the start of my project, finally

The Volvo 480 looks good as is, but if you have the desire to give it a more personal look you can find out what others did to their 480 and be inspired.

wow plenty of input. cheers all.
im not sure about bump strips in white, do u mean all of it or just the recess in the middle that you sometimes see black on the white ones?
thinkin of tinting the rear reflectors black just because they have no use in the uk and just look out of place.
as for the front numberplate. it will finally sit on an adapted front splitter when i can get hold of one. but i love the shape of the front end with out a numberplate, if it was legal i wouldnt have one all together.
the mirrors are very much a mixed opinion everyone who talks about it, but i like the idea that people are unsure... :D

I like the mirrors mate, looks well cool... just have to agree the side strips need a line of black just to break it up, plus it would suit the wheels and mirrors ;)

I like the side stripes, like said, it breaks it up a bit-i'm a sucker for well matched side stripes anyway lol!! I think it makes it look better, otherwise there is too much white on those wheels and too much adrk body work, but the stripes balances it a it-IMO. Interesting look tho-not been tried before which is even nicer! Love the polos (wheels!)

Shiiit! You're obviously alive to tell the tale so well done.

Hope there's not too much damage.

I like those wheels but personally I would have kept the dish part polished ;)

Good luck with the repairs.

yea I know I'm pretty lucky that's y I'm not too upset about repairs. Looking at it tho I think it's only a new wing and set of discs. But if got to jack the poor thing up and check for any more damage :(

I heard a strange noise and as a slowed down to check it car started wobbling tried to stop asap but the wheel flew off befor I had chance. Skidded about 5 meters and menaged to avoid the barrier as you can see in the photo
