SYSTEM PORSCHE STICKERS £2 each!!!!!

The Volvo 480 looks good as is, but if you have the desire to give it a more personal look you can find out what others did to their 480 and be inspired.

Probably not, seeing as they're Renault engines from the 21 (I assume).

Porsche did head work on the engines. Lotus did suspension work!

if you remember way back when the SEAT ibiza was launched it had system porsche stickers on as porsche helped design the engine.

catgroom (steve) was on about this a couple of years back.

as for the T2r part your 850 t5r as in the the T5 is the name of the turbo an i have a T2 etc.

i own a 1989 2.5L porche 944 and mine 175bhp 480 is considerabally faster ( i.e no sports car peformance etc MHUK )

the sticker was made whilst i waited at vinyl graphics shop , i don't think anybody would get charged much over £2 maybe £4 tops.

cheers

I don't agree with the false stickers either i'm afraid. Same as anyone who want to put a 'Handling by lotus' sticker on. I like to tell people the stories of Porsche and Lotus's supposed input on my car but I wouldn't want it advertised on the back. I don't think lotus or porsche would either!

Good effort though and that's just my opinion. I'm sure others will like them.

Martin, have you been to the Nurburgring in that car yet? - If not, you better get it there quick or it's false advertising!

OK, in my defence I only wanted one as I thought it was a standard sticker! I didnt realise it was an add on, I assumed it was for real as I know that Lotus did do the suspension...?! :dunno:

Like you I hate false stickers also.

I had a handling by lotus badge on my GT, maybe the one you meant Esta, until it fell off

I quite liked it, though it wasn´t original, got it for free from USA :)

No it wasnt the one i meant-the one i saw was on the tailgate-but both that and yours look like they are standard so i wouldnt know!! I think yours is tasteful, and hey, who cares, it was free!! ;)

And although it isnt standard, its not like its a false thing (eg turbo or supercharged stickers or halfrauds chrome letters spelling out GTi on the back of a metro! *giggles* ), as apparently the handling was by Lotus, and the engine tuning by Porsche! :)

Porsche also 'designed' the pistons, the ones with the combustion chamber in the crown, apparently. Although I think its more likely that Renault just bought the designs for the various parts from the Porsche back/obsolete catalogue.
