Side Skirts

Were there any side skirts made for the 480?

Has anyone tried others that are fairly easy to modify to work on a 480?

I might have read somewhere that the 440 or 460s fit, it was ages ago i heard it, so i have forgotten the ins and outs of it, but i think they just needed shortening slightly...but dont quote me on it. I keep an eye out in scrappys for 440/60 skirts cos they'll be cheap enough to play with and not matter if it goes wrong!

So if you can find some cheap in a scrappy could be worth playing around with??

IIRC Matbat did this to his 480. Martin should have some pics somewhere.

Thanks for your help guys, can get hold of 400 side skirts so it will be worth trying out, how difficult is it to do?

Thanks for the pics as well,looks a lot better as the skirts are in line with the front spoiler..

mine are from an astra g ,slightly to long at back so chopped em down a bit , fit nice inside door and under sill

The 440 skirts are quite nice if you make the three pieces become one whole skirt. Shouldn't be too much work.

I think i'll do it.

i belive the 440 and 460 have the same floor pan as the 480, so should be almost a perfect fit, just remeber thought that the 440 and 460 are 5 door not 3!

Doesn't matter as it has the same wheelbase.

Sorry what i meant is some of the rear of the skirts will have to be trimmed, as they come into where the "rear " doors are.

Got the Austin Maestro ones for Ã‚Â£20-surely worth a try for that price? Even 440/460 ones are hard to come by, which is why after 2 years I went for these!
