The carbon are still an option and are special order only so you will have to allow a little long for delivery. Also the price is on application are the carbon fiber market is up and down. So the cost varies pending on the cost of the raw material. Hence the standard ones have gone up a little in price.

Are you able to supply them painted at all like before?

I need a new one too - mines had a massive split in it for 18 months, its now more GRP and filler than spoiler!

Fantastic! I really need to get one soon as it's costing more in grp each time!

Are the fibreglass ones stronger than the standard volvo ones? What colour are they again? Just wondering if they can get away with unpainted or not...

Ta,

pol

I had an unpainted one on my black turbo Pol. Wasn't perfect but close enough for me.

in my opinion you can get away without painting them.

As for strenth. There is more material on the corners to make them stronger. I have tested both GRP and carbon ones upto 140mph (GPS) and have had no problems. I have hit a rabbit with a carbon one and its still in one piece and the other day i hit a kerb which killed my volvo one but the carbon one surived with only stratches. So again i would say yes they are stronger.

The standard volvo ones unpainted were £113+vat from the dealer which i have been informed by my dealer have been discontinued.

The one thing that i can say about my spoilers is that if you do break them they can be easily repaired.

they are all wrapped as best as possible and are insured for breakage. We have sent them out all over europe and have only had 4 broken ones which is roughly speaking around 3%. We are consistanly trying to improve on this. We have changed our courier and packaging and so far so good.

had a lot of PM's of late asking if the spoilers are still available. The simple answer is yes. These are always available and mostly kept in stock.

Thank you to all that have purchased these.

And what about the price for a carbon one? Over $90 I suspect?

i don't really advertise the cf products anymore even though they are still available and you did quite rightly guess the price of the cf front spoilers, that being £90. Due to the high prices of cf i no longer stock them and are only available on a special order basis.
