seat paterns

The Volvo 480 looks good as is, but if you have the desire to give it a more personal look you can find out what others did to their 480 and be inspired.

There are pictures of all the seat material styles on the main site if thats what your after. I doubt very much if you'd find some original seat material for a retrim though. Best thing to do would be sourch a new style to your own taste and go from there. Go for it though, I reckon it would be cool to see a re-styled 480 interior. :D

what i need is the plans for cutting the material to . rather than having to unpic the seats and make them from scratch.

I really doubt you'd get those. I've had to retrim some recaro's before and the easiest way is to use the old material as a template.

If you've got any scrapyards local to you i'd suggest going and "skinning" a seat for the templates.
Both front seats are the same mind you so you would only need to skin one (obv the tilt mechanism handle is different per side) and it would be a good incentive to complete the job asap.

cool, well when i was in the Volvo dealership a few months back i asked if they had any replacement seat panels or whole interiors, but their all long gone!

I've a hole in one of the side panels of the leather, so would be interested in your findings! ;)
