Change the gear knob!

The Volvo 480 looks good as is, but if you have the desire to give it a more personal look you can find out what others did to their 480 and be inspired.

Change the gear knob!

I want to change the gear knob whit one from Issota , how do i get out the old one because i don't know??

ha, ha! you can't!

Well, it can be done, but remember that you need the ring under the knob to be able to put the car in reverse.
Haynes tells you to take a big spanner, which goes under the knob, and then hit it with a hammer...
I removed mine by just pulling..
new shiny knob..

I change my gear knob finalli after cutting all olt that plastic beacuse was glued there

Gawd, tried getting one off a scrap car for WD once as per Haynes Manual instruction and just ended up trashing it. Good luck!
