Cargoblind in the rear

The Volvo 480 looks good as is, but if you have the desire to give it a more personal look you can find out what others did to their 480 and be inspired.

Cargoblind in the rear

Post by aibast » Sat Dec 09, 2006 9:15 am

Ok. went to the stealership and asked for the rubber cargoblind. When I heared the price I was in :cryhard: . These things cost more than a new taurus rim here in estonia  . So desided to do something still to cover up stuff I have in the back. So took some plywood (I think its correct in english ) Added some wooden structure under it to give it strength and covered it with leather. And the end result cost me 10 times less.

Ps. this was my 100 post :D

Looks smart. :)

What's involved in accessing the boot space? Do you just have to lift it out?

I need to lover rear seats and lift it out. At the moment it sits nice and thight in there. So incase on some extreme Gforces (accident) it wouldn't fly out of its place.
