440 bodykit front bumper shot with 16v engine

The Volvo 480 looks good as is, but if you have the desire to give it a more personal look you can find out what others did to their 480 and be inspired.

440 bodykit front bumper shot with 16v engine

Post by terrastudios » Tue Nov 21, 2006 10:32 pm

As requested by a few people on here, I'll dig some more piccys out (take some more). Note this was taken when wiring was a mess under the hood, will show some tidier ones later on + arches + rear bumper shots.

Its a F7P engine (renault 19 16v) bored to 2 litres running on megasquirt. note the standard ignition coil sat underneath the strut brace. The megasquirt is running MegaSquirtNSpark so doing both fuel and ignition.

Matt.

Looking very good.. What kind of power you expect with that 16v+MS ? Have you mounted the aches already ? I would like to know how did you put them on ? What would be the best way. Would like to see pics of hole car and bonnet closed.

Greetings
Tommi S

About 150bhp.

I've only temporarily placed the arches at the moment, they provide a resin with the body kit so the paint work needs keying and then the resin applying. Will need to fill the outer lip out with body filler to make it look smooth.

Will find you some more photos.

Cheers

If anyone is interested in this, due to the begging of people on the RR forum (Renault) i've started a complete project report, this can be found below.

I'll keep this thread on here up to date also with any additional photos.

Cheers,

Matt
