I like the idea, but I would personally leave the bonnet white. On the rear shots, the car looks great.
I do not like the darkened rear windows though - for this I am either for everything (which would look great, but is probably not legal, grrr) or nothing. The contrast between the front and rear windows kind of reminds me of small pickup cars.

Hmmm....
I think it looks like an un-finished project. Two-tone paint jobs are cool, when finished off properly. I think, to finish it off:
1) It def. needs clear front lenses
2) It needs lowering
3) It needs wider wheels, in black i think to tie in with the top colour
I think doing something like that would vastly improve it-but still unsure of the colours though! Maybe a bottom half colour like a burnt orange or something. Black only really works on a two-tone job if it's carbon fibre. My mate has something similar-black roof, black line across the front of the bumper-it ties in well as his bonnet is Carbon fibre-otherwise i think it would look odd.
Is it finished or is it work in progress?
(i think that was fairly positive?!? )

Not a colour choice I really like.
Nice condition car,I just dont feel the black and white mixes well.
Feel free to call me an A** H*** if you disagree
I can just visualise Police decals on that !

What happened to the 3-spokes? I quite liked them - Thought they suited the 480 really well, regardless of how much people seem to hate them! They look a hell of a lot better on your 480 than the Vesa rims do though, which is weird because Vesa rims are real sexy! Goes to show you how easy it is to change a 'sporty' looking car into a 'mature' car, so to speak.
The off-set number plate is still one of my favourite modifications! I'd put the 'Volvo' badge on the nose cone though, as I think the 480s look really plain / dull without the badge on the front!
Apart from that, I'd agree with Dan - It doesn't look finished! Definately needs come clear front lenses (and side if possible) to match the black and white colour theme. I'd only lower it though if you go back to the 3-spokes!
If it was my 480, I'd of left the bonnet and nose cone white, but painted the bumpers and side body strip black to 'match' the upper half.
As for some police decals? I think the car is cool in that form, because it looks like an ex-police vehicle! I'd probably paint really faint ghost decals over areas of the car to make it look like it really was once a police vehicle! Then again, I can't get enough of old American black and white ex-police cars, and the 480 never made it that far to start with.

They have used a 480 Turbo as a police vehicle! It was about an 88 or 89 car if I remember right.
It was in mid-blue and white.I think it was an Italian car.Theres a very old post on here with 2 police standing next to their car.Looked good actually!
I'll dig the post out when I have time

Black and white doesnt work so well like that for me. Can work well obviously as completely contrasting, and doesn't seem to work in B+W pics either, you seem to loose half the car in every photo...
Cant believe that hoody stole 2 cars and welded them together!
The matt black is better, but even better, 305 metallic black! Nice wheels though.
Is some of this photoshop work?
