Front centre armrest - available from 440/460?

The Volvo 480 looks good as is, but if you have the desire to give it a more personal look you can find out what others did to their 480 and be inspired.

Front centre armrest - available from 440/460?

Post by L8ERS » Wed Oct 25, 2006 5:24 pm

I am looking for the central armrest with cup holders.

I'm wondering if it would have been sold in bigger numbers on the 440/480?

Indeed they are sold out, and those of a 7xx or 9xx or any other Volvo won't fit if you ask me.

Just keep an eye out for a used one, mauybe some one has one in his/her 480 which is for sale and want to part with it ;)

I think we had some of the last lot when Daniel brought a load over to the Wales meeting, after we got them no one else could get them. They are much much better then the other arm rest

Wait I i think I can top that - half a pack of moldy jelly beans! :D

I guess I could go to Volvo and pay high prices!

I've had a quote of £109 for the front spoiler - makes the carbon fiber one look cheap!

All I'm going to say is good luck finding a Volvo dealer that can supply you with one.

i saw one on a 480 in a scrapper when i was 'between' 480s.....i considered getting it, but thought nah....got the 480 about 2 weeks later, went screaming back to the csrappy, but the car had been cubed :cryhard: assuming with the cup holder arm rest......

How does it fit to the seat (well with a 440/460) - i've looked at the side of the drivers seat and there is no mounting holes etc...

Does anyone have a 440/460 one, or are they as rare as the 480 ones?

Cheers

it replaces the center arm rest/storage bin thats already there.....its a bit higher, more padded and has a cup holder in it, but basically the same.
its not mounted to the seats or anything, but fits between.
