Gauge Mounting

The Volvo 480 looks good as is, but if you have the desire to give it a more personal look you can find out what others did to their 480 and be inspired.

Gauge Mounting

Post by JohnTurbo » Sun Jul 23, 2006 10:09 pm

Just remounted my boost gauge/mounted my new a/f meter in the top centre cubby. A plate of 3mm aluminium sprayed up in black.

- looks a bit rubbish in the photo, but you get the idea.

Edit!

I should say that you wont see the boost gauge very well :cryhard: I kept mine up on the dash to the right of the wheel.

@Red - bloody showoff!

Its fine, i don't tend to watch the boost gauge anyway...[death]

the car hits the road on the 1st of next month. All it needs now is 2 tyres and the infocenter sorting...the usual plug wiggle is no longer cutting it.

@ JT-thats pretty cool. I like aftermarket gauges and stuff, they look pretty cool.

@ Red-cool too, but doesn't it give you a headache with all those instruments?? ;)

:D 1:0 for you. you're right the headunit has to be changed, but i don't have enough money, spent everything on the gauges :)

@dan to be honest it was a bit difficult to drive with all that lights at night :) but now i get used to it and everything is fine
