Wheels (colour change)

The Volvo 480 looks good as is, but if you have the desire to give it a more personal look you can find out what others did to their 480 and be inspired.

Wheels (colour change)

Post by levin » Tue Jul 11, 2006 6:05 pm

How do you reckon a black 480 would look like with Pollux black painted (glossy) wheels?

A bit too much black?

Or nice?

Cheers

It's a 'marmite' look for definate.

I think it looks ok, but not if you know what i mean. Lowered 40mm with the front spoiler and tinted windows and you could pass it off-like a lot of thought has gone into the descision, but as it is, it looks un-finished.

Potentially a good idea...i like black rims. Any further plans for it??

I agree with you in every point mate!

I need to get the spoiler (hope i can get one from lee), need to lower it (already searching for springs...anyone?! :D) and tinted windows I wanted but have to wait (here, the MOT fails the car with tinted windows...).

Thanks for the comments guys :)

BTW, when I finished taking the pics, went into the car, turned the ignition and.....OH F*CK! NO BATTERY! VOLVERINE DID IT AGAIN!

And then you know the story..pushed the car as fast as I could...2nd gear, and voilá. But it pissed me off big time!

Cheers

I agree with Dan, needs a spoiler and lowering to finish it off, looks good as it is though, just unfinished

Looks excellent! ;)

Always considered doing this if I ever got a 480 on this wheels, except I've have to have a silver rim with the black center! :D
