I had a stroke of genious the other day, i thought about colour coding the housing around the pop up (the bit that holds the lampd) has anyone done this as i dont have the time or money to try it at the moment but it could be a future project
480 Twin Tone 1.7 ES now withOUT induction kit, mmm... peacefull.

MatBat had a 480 with CC pop ups. I think it was his TT ?

I'm sure one of his 480's have CC pop ups. If it's the ES then that's going to be mine :hopping:

did it with mine....paris blue.
dead easy to do, but i decided to strip replace em with the black ones again, cos i had rubbage down one side, where the popups went up and down.

they dont look bad though....one tin of spray will do a decent cover job.

We had a D plate ES with colour coded covers. Was red.

i had an H plate with colour coded pop ups!!

it was black though :D

All 480's I have seen pre 1990 have had color coded sorounds.
I have also painted the black cover sorounding the front of the light (only found on earlier style lights)
1996 Mini Classic 1275.
