Hausser spoiler

The Volvo 480 looks good as is, but if you have the desire to give it a more personal look you can find out what others did to their 480 and be inspired.

Post by Hkerswell » Sun Jul 17, 2022 10:12 pm

Hey again everyone!
I know it's a long shot but I'm looking for a hausser rear spoiler or any other hausser body kit bits, I can understand its a bit like a needle In the hay stack but I've just seen the post on Facebook and I'm in love with the styling!

I believe you can get the Hausser spoiler remanufactured.
WR Composites springs to mind but it could be some place else.
As for the rest of the kit, I’d forget it - more chance of winning the lottery

Needle in a haystack? They're probably laying around with all the brand new unused front and rear clusters, Cup holding armrests and roller blinds.

Ashley had one for sale a while ago - Wasn't a fan of it as the fit left quite a lot to be desired, and rattled whilst driving.

Also the 1987 sensors, ski rack, front spoiler for the unpainted bumpers and the full range of Volvo audio equipment. Oh and the cruise control...
Current Jobs to do (23/1/22):
Fix Central Locking
Fix drivers side speaker
Annoying Scratching Squeak
Water leaks
Complete Front O/S rebuild

I suspect a good number of the early unpainted front spoilers ended up getting painted by owners over the years, hence why there aren’t any left. As for the ski rack, I can’t imagine that was ever a popular option to be honest.

Well the sorts of people the car was aimed at was precisely the sort that would go skiing every winter, young, educated, upwardly mobile types. Tennis in Summer, skiing in winter
