Bakke - Redcap project

The Volvo 480 looks good as is, but if you have the desire to give it a more personal look you can find out what others did to their 480 and be inspired.

@Bakke

Ahh mate our tastes I think are extremely similar.The steering wheel I like too,and recently thought this is a big improvement on the standard 480 issue!

Its a 440 one yeah??Is this the same diameter as the 480 one from the first cars (2 spoke)???

Steve.

That looks like a wheel from a 700 or older 900 series...positive it's not a 400 series jobbie!

It's a 440 steering wheel, and it's a straigt swap with the original 2 spoke 480 wheel. Got it for 10€ so I'm not complaining and it was far worth the price....

In meantime I've took of the front wings of my donor car to put them on the ES because those of the ES are in to bad shape.

Which sort of 440 did that come from then? Never seen that one before-looks like the one that used to be in an old J plate 960 up the road from me :?

Sorry Dan, but that I can't tell. I got it from ebay and it was labeled 440 steering wheel, so I bought it since most of the 4XX parts are interchangeble I knew it would fit ...

Steve-o!

You mean this wheel?? This and the airbag wheel (apart from the Momo etc) i'm sure were the only ones for the 440... Mmmm,lovely interior. Both look very similar...perhaps a limited edition wheel?? Deffo looks the same shape though...

@ Bakke...no blinkers or door strips. Looks interesting...any chance of seeing the rest of the car ;)

Pretty please? :D

Seems like they are offline on photobucket. They surelly will have been cached in the Mac's memory, thats why you can see them on the Mac and not on the PC ;) ...
