I stuck iridiums in The Fierce One. They have a very fine point. I dunno much more than this, but at over 10 snots a plug, I'd hate to find out there's better for less.

Hmm, I've tried the multipoint electrode type plugs before and found no real difference in performance, but they don't last as long. As for chopping the electrodes short, if it really was an improvement wouldn't the manafacturer be doing that already (if nothing else but to cut material costs!).

Just swapped the plugs in my ES to Champion D.Copper cores, they seem ok and always last well.

That's my 2penny worth anyway!

Joke:
Guy tries to get into a club but the bouncer says "sorry mate, no tie, no entry"
The guy does some quick thinking and runs back to his car, opens the boot and pulls out some jumpleads and ties them around his neck in a double winston. Goes back to the club where the bouncer looks him up and down.
"Can I come in now I have a tie?" asks the guy.
The bouncer replies "Ok, as long as you don't try to start anything."

Geddit, start anything, jumpleads?!!!

the point of multi point plugs etc is not to improve performance they are just more effective and reliable, the spark will only jump to the nearest point.
