This seems to be the neverending story
So I shall add a few words of my own to it..again.. when driving around Europe with two people on board, boot fully packed and back seats also full, I did manage to reach the to speed of ~212 km/h which is ~122 mph..not bad for a 2.0 with standard stuff that needs loads of improvement recently...
Wonder how fast it would go with only me inside

Roof!!!!!
Jurek,
If you get your hood re-painted it will save you considerable wind-resistance and fuel costs!!!!!!!
There are some Opel Corsa drivers in England that really do beleive that!!!

I didn't want to start a new thread so thought I might as well post here:
I didn't go 110mph and it wasn't still accelerating
My goodness the car is awesome Problem is I know it will cause me pain and anguish at some point...
It's just the fact you're at 70, and you press on the accelerator and it just wants to take off, same at cough90cough.
In my mums 405 1.9GRD phwoar you were lucky to reach 70!
Definitely need to fit some new windscreen wipers with spoilers (I have bought them - just not fitted) as they don't half make a noise above 60...
Finally for all those involved doesn't this make you feel old?

(love the post count)
Cheers

(The things that scares me is that I'm not one of these boy racer types... the car just brings the worst out of me)

This was genuinely on the Autobahns... and was frightening. The 480's brakes aren't up to this kind of speed, you need a long long gap to slow down.
I remember when Turnac wrote his car off... was sad, another top member gone.

132mph (gps) on the limiter, round brunters track on 15's.
larger wheel will increase the speed so hopin for more on the 17's.
new ecu will increse the rev limit so that should up it too.
if the gearbox does break then i'll be fittin a diff found in other reno's which should allow 176mph top end, just unsure how much it'll affect acceleration and if i'll have enough power to get there lol.
skyline move over, 5 comin thru

reanualt 5 campus, Volvo turbo conversion, hybrid T28, -31 actautor, external oil cooler, THS intercooler, rear radiator, large throttle, Adaptronic ECU, cossie blue injectors. results recorded '06 (21 psi 228bhp/229lbs),(23psi 12.6 @108mph)
124mph on the speedo, closer to 120mph actual i'm guessing. Not bad for a 16 year old ES!
Roll on the turbo!
