Maf and shifter troubles

Hello,
So today I got the car back o the road after 4months and 5 days of sitting still woo. But when I started it up there were some problems with the idle.
I adjusted the MAF to have .530ohm and since then the car won't idle with the maf connected, it just dies. I can keep it alive by pressing the gas but if i let go, nothing. Also if I unplugg the MAF engine won't rev above 3000rpm and it makes no boost. Idk if this is a safety feature of the roboumod?
Next thing was a short shifter transmission linkage, on the transmission itself, the thingi that connects to the shifter fork on the one side and is in a plastic cradle of sorts in the other, well I installed a shorter one and it keeps jumping out of the cradle. I don't know if the plastic piece is just old and worn out or is the short shifter the problem.
Anyhow, I am really looking forward to find out what the trouble with the maf is, as before I parked the car It was running OK, the idle was fluctuating but I think it's because of a vacuum leak in the turbo inlet pipe hole, where it connects to the idle air controll valve thing.
I hope someone can spread some knowledge here, thanks.
