Volvo 480 Club Europe

In the next 2 or so years, Im going to be on a lookout for a Volvo 480 Turbo, and alongside, I would like to run the ECU modification, that from what I've read, increases boost pressure and increase horsepower and torque output.

After having a look around the forum, I dont see much talk about WHERE and HOW a consumer would get one from or apply for one? And I assume its because the producer may have ceased production and there arn't any more retail units?

you wont find a richmod but you could get a ROBOU mod. Does the same but smoother

So this ROBOU mod, is there a link or somewhere where I can get more information for it?

SO after checking that thread out, it appears it may still be possible top acquire it, am I correct?

What sort of performance gains would I see from this? Im aiming for atleast 160BHP, if more, I would like a way to tone it tone just slightly

The Robou ecu comes as is what you do with it afterwards is up to you but dont ask Robou he spent years getting it to the level it is. If you want total flexibility etc go the megasquirt route but it is costly. . Your top speed with a Robou mod is 140+ mph more than enough for the little car.

Do a few searches in the tuning and tweaking section and you will find out so much more on our little car.

From reading the forum, I think Im wanting to run 0.9-1bar, so about 14PSI,

If I install said ECU, what boost pressure will I be looking at (Roughly, I know all are different)

There is a Richmod ECU for sale on the Volvo 480 page on Facebook.

There's ECU for sale...??? There's a facebook page!!!???

Facebook lists several 480 accounts, which one is it?

I can't find it now, so guess it's sold already. Was on there only a few days ago. An orange ECU with Richmod.
