No, not really.

The compression ratio is too high in the N/A engines, and the management won't support forced induction from a turbo, or supercharger.

Best bet is to get hold of a B18FT and associated wiring loom and ECUs from a car that is being broken, and transplant that in place.

The block is externally almost identical to the one you already have in a B18U, so it would all bolt up very easily :)

Yes, definitely possible, and a quite frankly hilarious conversion! :D

dont the 300 crew drop in redblock engines and upgraded prop shafts from 200 series and drop n stiffen the suspension.

A 340 wallows like a duck even with a 1.4 engine with a turbo engine........

Ha ha, yeah usually.

They usually use a 360 base as they already run with a 2.0 redblock and torque tube type prop, but there have been a fair few B18FT conversions using a 340 base.
Just need to uprate the standard aluminium prop and be careful on launch to not destroy the gearbox!

There one on ebay actually at the moment... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1989-VOLVO-34 ... 4ad75e5785
