Boost problem !!!

My car does not want to produce boost !

gauge goes up to a very constant 4psi but thats it..

MBC fully open ..

& I checked for pressure leakages, didn't find any.

Any ideas ??

Actuator maybe ??

I had a problem with boost when my lambda sond was dead. Psi gauge goes up very well, but it didn't yield acceleration

i had the same problem a while ago, check if the flap of the wastegate is still in place (downpipe has to go off for this)

Thats what I was thinking and that what I wasn't hoping for .. downpipe is a nightmare to remove !!

Sorry mate. I made mistake with units of measurements...

Check wastegate rod. Maybe it's jammed in "open" position?

problem still persists !


Wastegate is OK as I unpluged the acuator pressure line and it produced boost.


Soooo .. I am almost a 100% positive that somethings wrong with the acuator. I am running a MBC and still does not produce boost with MBC fully open.


Any ideas ???
