the most you could get is from a new proper exhaust manifold, and thats it. Bigger exhaust on NA cars is in most parts useless. You just get a lot of sound and no go. Its only needed when the engine itself passes trough more air and gasses than stock does.

your best bet is to put on a good (probally home made) cold air intake and increase your fuel pressure and put bigger injectors maybe only 15-20% bigger . if you had all the parts about £150 ish (secondhand injectors from scrappy) you should see a geniune 15-20bhp increase with much better throttle response , also the manifold you have on your car is quite good (better than the 2 litre one)

you could if you were feeling brave take it off and have in machined and gas flowed along with your intake manifold (cost approx £125 to £200) only maybe a 7bhp gain but more response and smother acceleration.

these mods would make your car very slightly faster than a standrad 480 turbo with no turbo lag.

hope these idea's help , but do use the search function in older posts there is a lot of info here about n/a tuning ,

but i have to admit most agree for money to tune an N/A engine you should sell it and buy a turbo .

cheers Felyx

ALSO for your exhaughst try longlife , they would probally build you a stainlees steel one for about £230 from the cat back .

So bigger injectors could help gain power ??

Also on a b20F ??
Is the B20F ECU smart enough to cope without mods to bigger injectors ??

thanks and greetz

Kane if your only in manchester it might be worth you popping over to ashton in makerfield to a company called Rye motors, go and see lou there he will sort you out a decent exhaust without emptying the bank, he did one for my golf Gti last year, absolute superb job
