Why use a dumpvalve

Post by Eric » Tue Jul 07, 2009 4:23 pm

Hi Guys,

I read your discussion about the dumpvalve. My 480 Turbo is richmodded. So I was wondering shout I use a Dumpvalve and what is the benefit.
Does it damage the engine or turbo?
If there is a benefit, how can I instal it.
Do you have any pictures or manuals how to fit.

I heard al kinds of rumors, so what are your experiences?

PS Bosch partnr: 0 280 142 114 used by VW and Audi.
Kind regards

i may be wrong(dont have ft) but i think the turbo has a recirculating dump vale as standard.its just about upgrading to handle the extra boost.it shouldnt damage anything.
