There aren't that many 2.3N/A cars that can keep with a tuned 1.7 turbo...

Another suggestion straight from a french site :

A turbo head on a 2L block with a renault 21 turbo ECU.

Detailled (in french) here.
The guy also bolted a clio group N rally gearbox, just in case ...
Renault sport used to sell dry sump kit for theses blocks.

And if you don't want to invest in racing parts, there is one used for sale here for 350£.

OK can you translate it? THIS could be VERY interesting idea!!! Wow thanks for the input!! ;) But do you mean the Volvos Renault 2l or Renault sports 2l?

Except for the ECU and the head this is a pretty similiar setup as Tobi480Turbo is running.

From what I understand:
It's a 2l block from a Renault Megane Scenic with a head from a B18FT, the block has been fitted with oil piston sprayers. The engine is controlled by a Sybele aftermarket ECU not sure but it seems to run with wasted spark ignition.
GT2056 Garrett turbo, high impedance injectors, B18Ft intake manifold and exhaust manifold. Exhaust is 63,5mm (=2.5"?)
The differential is from Clio Williams Group A

It uses at the front the 4pots rear caliper of a Porsche 911 with Renault Laguna master cylinder.
