ok, shaft sent was a manual one, cant get an auto one, car is now going to be scrapped if i cant get a replacement in 1 week!

Obviously I hope you don't, but if you do end up scrapping it, and want to sell the ECU.....

Have you tried Lakes Autos - Volvo dismantlers?

Their 'stock' changes on a monthly basis, so even if you've spoken to them in the past, it might be worth giving them a call...

Well after a tireless search for a front drivers side auto driveshaft (and 1 day until the scrap man was comming!) ive manged to get hold of one, so good news for all! the 440t will live after all (despite having to pay a bloody premium for a second hand shaft(Ã‚Â£65)) so will pm all who have contacted me and wait in anticipation for more!

suppose i should put your name down on the list for people wantng the ecu modded then ben??

Yep, definitely put me on the list. The car's in daily use though, so as I don't have a spare ECU I'll have to send it to you as late as possible, and borrow my parent's car temporarily.

Dude is there any chance I could drop the car/ecu off with you and rich on sat? I am happy to take my walking boots with me and disapeer for 8 hours or something if needs be.
