Longlife seem to be the best Dan

£349 from the cat back for mine.

Powerflow do one also but the quality of the steel isnt all that and they dont last too well.

It really does depend on how much you have to spend.

If you are happy to have a standard replacement due to this costs, see here as these guys are mega cheap and offer good quality productus!

I have got a full stainless steel system, with 2 exits, 1 each side four inch bores, sounds really nice, quiet loud if you like that type of thing. All yours for £210. Shamir

My free flow side exit was £200, but it wouldn't pass your English MOT

My exhaust cost me 400 smackers recently, from Longlife. I can honestly say that it does make the difference that people say it does, funnily enough at low revs more than high revs I find. Only thing is, the exhaust with CATs have just one silencer, so make sure they put a reasonably large silencer on, as it does get a little boomy - that is unless you're after the sportier sound...

Definitely worth it tho, as it'll never go wrong.

i will probably get it de catted if i get a new exhaust, its a 1991 model so i think thats ok mot wise?
i am hoping for a subtle sound just a bit more meaty than standard.

I thought that it had to have a cat if it was originally fitted with one at time of production? Although i may be wrong.. your regulations are different

The good thing about Longlife is they can make up exactly what you want. They are somewhat used to the Chav sound, so best make sure they know you want a quiet exhaust.

The sound will be a bit deeper than standard because of the type of silencer they use.

If you wanted a deeper, but non booming sound then have them make a bigish center box, and smaller backbox. That will tend to make the exhaust note deeper and louder. May well cost more though. I would think they could fit that in with the CAT still in place as well if you don't wnat to loose it.
