All i have to say marty baby, all mouth and no trousers!! Your probably a boring engineer in his mid 30's, who looks forward to logging on everyday just to get ur whitty and sarcastic views across that u learnt in your middle class 6th form years, and not to help other members in the club.

Even though your away in Paris RELAXING in the Hilton, you still have to get ur 2p's worth in. I know if i was in Paris relaxing i would be chilling out with my girlfriend and would not be logging on to write sarcatic remarks. (Or maybe you havn't got a girlfriend? If your like this on the net imagine what ur like to live with?)

i havent pushed my 480 anywhere near its limits but when i was young and foolish i got nearly 140 out of my dads 440Turbo, wouldnt do it again though!!!

it was the speedo rated speed obviously (show me someone who had handheld GPS back in 98!) so it is probably a good deal over the real speed but what else can i go by??

This does make me laugh

I've never done more that 115mph on a "private"road but surely unless you live in a place with no plod or no limits you aren't gonna do this sort of thing often (do you want to know so you can brag to yer mates

)

well we've been through this subject already
mine did 205-210 km/h with 2 people on borad and boot packed up with stuff on back seats...
but with cone air filter
my wheels are 195 60 15 non standars vovlo wheels
wonder how fast it will go in couple of days..on German Autobahn

As for your comment Jaytee, once is enough, but i kinda had to know. The road was totally empty as it was about 3am, and the M65 (this is fiction of course) is a quiet motorway anyway.

To certain "coughers" out there

Murf was abusing his dad's 440 Turbo last week- naughty lad decatted it and- well it's quite fast actually! Boosted right to the end of the yellow too as set in factory

@ Murf- i will pm your dad with more info unless you fix my car and i can borrow your MR2 for a week!

Also tried to get him to put MBC on and not tell dad for a laugh......

One day it will be right again to wind my car up to full speed- and Sainsburys car park and the local kiddies playground both spring to mind- no speed cameras there!

It would seem I had you down as some Max Power dickhead but I'll downgrade that and take your questions better from now on. In the past there have been a few guys who threat our wonderful 480's as a Nova. I'm all for mods but its 480 and some comments get threat to a good flaming. I hope you prove me wrong.

This will get dumber so I guess Iâ€™m saying sorry for comments said but otherwise I don't like threats made to me. I do take it personal mate.

So let's BOTH cease-fire and let's just get on? I'm for that one. What you say? Quits?

seriously though....cant get mine past 95
shoots up to that, then hits treacle.
have cleaned everything, done all what you guys have suggested, but no....95s my limit (on a private road of course)
daft questions just occurred....could the rev limiter have been set lower, and would this cause the treacle effect?

watch out rob, they will both come round and tickle you to death!!

dont think it sounds like the rev limiter as that would do it in every gear. when you hit the limiter you REALLY know about it, it sounds terrible!
try and floor it in neutral, then you will find out what the limit is set to!!
