LOL dont go posting smut like that, you've now got me thinking about a side exit exhaust instead of repairing f**ked rear 3rd of the sill on the passenger sideMurf wrote:On a side note, we were driving the spares car about with no exhaust or cat and the turbo sounds awesome, when it spools it sounds like an aeroplane turbine engine!! Tad loud though.....

Funny,
Changed my own rear damper for a double exit one. a vew days ago I have also been driving it without any damping, just the downpipe and the cat.
My neigbour once had a chevy corvette and he walked up te me and asked me how I got the corvette sound in my volvo. It sounded great, but now I have the damper on it sounds a bit more civilized, but still nice .
Tommorow it caused at least three people to look around and see where the sound was from.
Well, don't want to influence you guys on creating a side pipe, but it surely sounds great

Funny you should ask!!!
Was out with Chris last night and there has eventually been 5 made on this production run along with Integra, MR2 and Civic de-cats. Subject to mine fitting ok there will still be 2 available.
1 for me, Murf & VanDerGraaf (if you guys still want one). You can have first refusal on one of the others if you want it Robin leaving 1 for someone else.....
Still no definate prices on these yet and pics will be posted as soon as i get my hands on them and can confirm the fitment etc. They all have lamda sensor locations apparently so anyone fitting to a pre 92 vehicle will need to plum 'em!

lol, you've got little choice in the matter Rob! All 5 have already been made to pattern from the original cat that murf sent down to me (which had a lamda sensor in it). As martin says, just bung a sensor in there to blank it off or find a bolt with the same threads.martinholmesuk wrote:get one with the hole for the sensor because if you sell most people will need the sensor
and you can bung with a plug anyways.
I still havnt got them yet, or been billed for them! so the price is still a grey area but they should be in the region of 40-50 quid. I'm not interested in making money on them, just covering the costs!
Should be taking delivery of them by Wed-Thursday of this week so i'll keep you all posted
