I'm selling this C70 as it stands with an engine management issue. The management light is on and while the car will rev fine whilst stationary once on the move it misfires over about 4000 revs. With normal driving it seems OK, below those revs. I've not got the skill to sort out the issue, and haven't got the money at the moment to pay someone else to sort it.

ABS ECU dry joints just been repaired (common issue)

Bad points

Management issue as mentioned above
Been a cat D write off at some time in it's past
a few minor scrapes and scratches (see pics)
small cut in roof c pillar (see pics)
front tyres near wear bars
Info centre not working.
Dent in bootlid (see pics)
Drivers seat back adjust knob missing
Scratched windscreen, hardly noticeable from inside and not mentioned on the MOT (outside swept area)

Always liked the C70...what are they like to own?

Its a bit thirsty (25mpg), and has a bit of scuttle shake but I really like it to drive. Very comfortable as you'd expect from Volvo, and the 5 cylinder engine is a peach (when it's running properly).

Having done some more research it seems the car has an ETM fault. This is a common issue and there is a company on the Volvo forums who will rebuild it for £110 plus p&p. If there's no interest I'll probably get it done and keep it.

Now being repaired so not currently for sale.
