Volvo 480 in York

When you spot a 480 and wonder if it's someone from the forum: ask it here! One rule: do NOT post registration plates.

A member of the Dutch forum spotted a 480 in York

One of the prettiest colours ever applied to a 480!

Brilliant glad to see another one as a daily! Have still yet to see another on the road other than mine (discounting the one I saw in Bosnia that started my obsession)
Current Jobs to do (23/1/22):
Fix Central Locking
Fix drivers side speaker
Annoying Scratching Squeak
Water leaks
Complete Front O/S rebuild

I'm not in the UK, but mine is semi-daily (as in: when both my wife and I need a car) and there is a daily driven 480 (a red 1993 480 S, 2 litre w/o info centre) in the same town as where I live. The owner has my telephone number in his WhatsApp favorites list, in case something goes wrong

Brilliant find! Do you happen to know a bit more specifically where in York, given it's just down the road? If they aren't part of this family already, I think the owner needs to be worked on...

I too am using my Celeb as a daily driver at the moment, and really enjoying doing so too!

Haha. Shall we all turn up like when we went to see the TT? Come and join us.... “One of us” ☺️
Looks like a tiny place, should be easy to stalk... I mean locate. 😬
