Spotted!

Just seen a black 480 going towards Sheffield on the A61 near Tankersley at about 20 to 7. I think the plate was L23 something, it was going the opposite way from me so couldn't see much more before they'd gone. I think it had blacked out rear windows though.

As I was driving my A-class I felt I'd look a bit silly flashing my lights at him and waving manically, as per recent threads.

hi maisie,

i work in the industrial estate at tankersley (wasnt me tho - met green gt)and ive not seen another 480 since last year! im beginning to believe ive the only 480 in the area. so when i do see one im definatly mental waving, pop up flashin'

I spotted a maroon GT in Southampton today, not seen a 480 round for ages!

Last time I saw a 480 in Bedfordshire I was 13, my first day of upper school actually. It obviously made an impression because I wanted one ever since.

Cambridge on the other hand is saturated! Saw three turbos in one day over there.

Anyhoo..........

Wonder if there's one or two black ones, either way, I keep seeing a black turbo with blacked out windows around Barnsley, which is lowered, stainless exhaust etc. But I see another black one lurking around too, mainly when IO head towards Sheffield.

I keep seeing a red one around Barnsley too.

Look out for the mental dude in the saffron V70-R AWD that comes through that IE when traffic is bad, or generally around Barnsley

Saw a red L plate 2.0 ES headed towards Dewsbury on leeds road today, and seen 3 others in Brid during the last week

I only see em when I'm not in a 480
