Thank you for your insight! I was thinking of a matching colour, but feared the cost of a proper paint shop, though I might have a go myself.

It is disgraceful to see what quality is acceptable for OEM parts! It sounds like you're doing the right thing there with fabricating your own exhaust!

Duly noted in the careful torque for the dash! I remember my first one having a few cracks. Plastic fantastic ...
