this will probably upset the the purests , but given a choice of remodelling the NSR wing/bumper or adding extra illumination, thne I went for the latter.
the cars are parked within 1" of a concrete wall, (see photo) and sometimes that 1" gets less than 'a paint thickness'

(especially if dark outside) my Father's guide was 'as long as it's MORE than a paint thickness, all is good'
so I purchased a PAIR of rear lights so it looks quite tidy (I think)

for those interested the pair were around £20 from tinterweb. H Bowers in Staffordhire
used some 16SWG to fold up a section 50mm x 30mm around a 3mm flat bar and a 4mm bolt hole with SS bolts
the ally clamps arond the existing bumper, and a bonus was that the original connector fitted into the back of the new fitting (after opened out from 1/2" to 5/8" so all can be retrofitted.
