Al and I went to the cinema but it was Snazzy who got the best seat in the house

I can well imagine drivers of big fat suvs spitting bricks at the sight of a HUGE space being taken by a dinky little 480 ! No idea where that walkway is supposed to lead.

Wish all car park spaces were that big; punish the idiots who drive stupid big cars, reward the ones who drive sensible sized ones!

Although as the desire for Stupid Useless Vehicles (SUV’s) increases, along with weight, I read an interesting article that suggested older car parks may not be able to cope with the ever increasing weights (particularly when you add batteries into the mix) and many are contemplating either spending millions to demolish and rebuild, or just banning overweight vehicles (and no prizes for guessing which the majority will go for!)

Al and I have been wondering about the weight on multi stories, along with bridges and ferries. I read an article about some countries banning electric cars from underground carparks and ferries due to fire concerns. Then there's tunnels as well. This switch to electric doesn't seem to have been thought through very well.

Ironically our local council put 6 charging points into the little local carpark which get very little use. Maybe due to most electric cars being over the weight limit designed to keep commercial vehicles out. I'd laugh if it didn't mean it's now harder to find a decent space.
