Alas, poor Beryl has gone to Amazonia where hopefully she can donate some parts, has brand new back lights!!! Good news is I now have a bright red H reg which has had one owner and has been garaged for 20 years, all MOTS etc, My volvo chappie phoned me one night and said he has a 480 that was too good to miss and as it was just down the road to me, of course I went to look! and said YES. quite expensive but
worth it! hope, just passed its MOT yesterday. This one is Maudie, am I a sad person?
was shopping at Waiitrose and parked up in Beryl a few months ago nose to nose with another 480 owned by an elderly lady who also had had it for 20 years and kept it garaged, in very good nick, she loved :wink: it and said she would never sell it!! that was before I found Maudie.
Well that's it for now, from a sad 480 owner.
