Hi both, haha yeah been a labour of love and hate the past 2 years.....

last year saw it back on the road for the first time "properly" i would say, but on my first outing, 90 miles in, going from 4th to 5th at 4000rpm, part of the exhaust cam broke off, locked the cam solid, bending 4 exhaust valves and snapping the m10 grade 10.9 cam pulley bolt..... so that was great fun! :hopping:

head came off, and replaced with a head from an F7R A714 megane engine, these have smaller ports, but bigger valves and so flow much better, along with a new set of piper 285 cams (max i could go on hydraulic lifters), a new timing belt and we're away again and running much nicer too, noticable difference!

just now, I'm waiting on the nicer weather as it's rained every day here this year so far i'd say, but hopefully may will see it back out on the road.

i do have a rear main seal that is leaking oil when running, but its monitorable, annoying but i'll live with it for a few years before i take it out again...... :D
