I have a blank shelf in between the heater controls and stereo, does anyone know if it would be possible to retrofit these gauges?

I don’t believe so - they are for the 440/460 and will be too short to fit in that space. The 480 ones aren’t that hard to come across anyway, but they did two versions, one for the Turbos and one for the S/ESScoob wrote: ↑Sat Apr 22, 2023 1:29 pmI have a blank shelf in between the heater controls and stereo, does anyone know if it would be possible to retrofit these gauges?

However you will need a mechanical oil pressure sender with the adapter if you want the oil pressure needle to work properly. Otherwise when you connect it up, will just act as an on/off switch.

Check the door stays (metal arm by the hinges) - they may well have separated from the door itself, probably on the inside. Not uncommon on the driver's door, less so on the passenger side (purely based on frequency of door opening and closing).
The fix usually involves some welding as the door stays tend to be stronger than the thin section of door to which they are bolted...

Re: New Owner - 1992 Limited Edition
Long time, no see.
I had a busy summer last year and coupled with moving house, the 480 had been in storage since summer.
I got the 480 back last week and set about to finally restore her. Straight into the garage and it turns out my suspicions were correct about the previous MOT the last owner had put it through (no advisories) and this time there were a bunch of electrical faults and a bit of welding needed.
She's currently sat being worked on, and my auto electrician has called to say that we need a headlight arm. Alongside the MOT issues, he's going to try and get the pop-ups working, I have three motors, but apparently no arm on the off-side headlight.
Could anyone please help with this part?

I think they are "handed" so make sure you get the right side
Or Billy Rowland is breaking a car and may have some, would be cheaper than getting from Germany. He's in the Facebook page.

Hi, mate. Thanks for the arm, we got the pop ups working with the existing motors! I'm after a strut for the passenger side now, we've found someone welded the existing one to keep the headlight propped up.jifflemon wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 7:10 pmDrop me a PM, should be able to sort you one outScoob wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 7:00 pmLong time, no see.

I've tried to PM you a few times, but now I just 3 messages stuck in the outbox for whatever reasons.

Messages “stuck in the outbox” just means that they haven’t been read yet. You’ll probably notice that they’ve now gone (as I’ve read the pms)
